Hello friends!
If you are still looking for a fun and tasty one-of-a-kind gift idea, you’ve come to the right place!
I just finished this s’more gift basket for Christmas for around $15 and there’s still time for you to make one of your own.

To make the basket (well, bucket) I purchased the following:
- Container (I got this little silver bucket from my local Tractor Supply store for around $2)
- Bandana (Tissue paper works fine, too!)
- Retractable campfire tongs (You can pick up some at your favorite outdoors store. I got mine from Amazon.)
- Graham crackers
- Marsmallows (Buy the s’mores shaped ones if you can!)
- Hershey bars

I began by filling the bucket with packing paper. I filled it almost to the rim. Next, I opened the bandana and laid it over the packing paper with the corners of the bandana hanging over the side. The blue one I used came from Walmart. I found it in the craft section for $0.98.

I didn’t include the entire packages of marshmallows or graham crackers in the basket. I used clear cellophane treat bags and then stacked the marshmallows inside. I tied a small red bow on the top of the clear bag. I also pulled the packs of graham crackers out of the box…I think it makes the basket look more inviting to see the food items outside of their original containers.
The retractable marshmallow tongs came in a pull-tie bag. I sat the bag in the back but left one of the tongs out so it would be visible.
I keep brown shredded paper around for all kinds of crafts. You can buy this paper bagged in the gift wrap section at Dollar Tree. To give a little movement and fill in the gaps, I poked this shredded paper throughout.

To take this gift up another notch, I wrapped it in a gift basket bag. You can also find these at Dollar Tree. To top it off, I used wired ribbon to make a pretty bow.
That’s it! This would make a great hostess gift or teacher gift. I am going to use mine for our white elephant party. I may try to pick this gift to keep for myself! (Retractable marshmallow tongs are the smartest thing ev-er!)
If you have a last-minute gift, grab a few supplies from Dollar Tree and elevate it by making a gift basket. For only a few dollars you can give your gift a high-end look!
