Hello again friends!
Welcome to my Fall Home Tour 2022!
I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful Fall weather and taking in all that the season has to offer. My Fall has been different for the last two years and I am so ready to get back to living in the moment and savoring the seasons as they come. Last Fall was spent prepping a client’s home for sale by helping paint the entire interior–and all other free time was working on a family member’s home to clean and organize all of their belonging for an estate sale. I honestly don’t remember much about last Fall…except for a much-needed vacation to Disney World.
Disney World is where my daughter, Mary, was proposed to…and the chaos of this Fall has overwhelmed me. The wedding is next week and I am so happy and excited, but do miss everyday stuff like family meals, working in the yard and not living by a massive to-do list.

Mary has been an easy bride to work with. She hasn’t been demanding or tried to make it all about her, but just the simple tasks involved with planning a wedding is a lot. Trying to take a concept in your mind and make it a reality is daunting. This is similar to decorating a home. You have that vision, but connecting so many pieces together for a cohesive look is difficult. My home is traditional and I have a sort-of eclectic taste when it comes to how I go about decorating. I like many different styles and basically put whatever I like together. If it makes me happy, I try to make it work. Is this a successful approach to decorating? It’s a hit or miss kind-of thing. Me and my home are still a work in progress.

So this Fall Home Tour may be a little all over the place. The kitchen is the most decorated room for Fall, so I thought we’d start here. Do you see the box sitting in the background in the Dining Room? Well, that’s a baby gift for my first grand baby! Evelyn Wren is due in January. We are also so very excited to have this new addition to our family.
My apologies for leaving the box in the photo…there are so many Amazon boxes stacked around the house from friends and family sending wedding gifts, too. I have been stuffing them in this one spot in the Dining Room because there’s no room anywhere else.

I never got around to decorating the Dining Room and there are only splashes of Fall around the Living Room.

I was able to put a few pumpkins around the entryway.

I have already shared my Lunchroom tablescape with you, but here’s a few photos of it in case you missed them.

Although I rambled around about how busy I am and all of the changes taking place in our family, I am so very thankful for all that God has blessed me with. I may not have all of my home decorated or have it decorated as I had envisioned it. There may be boxes and other debris scattered around. My bed may not be made at the moment. Having the ones you love close by and knowing that we’re all in this together is what is most important. My family is my everything. With them, I have something to be thankful for always.
In closing, here’s a photo of me and my FOUR girls. Mary, me, Kaytlen and Baby Evie.

Thank you for joining me for my Fall Home Tour 2022! I may not post for a week or so while we’re in wedding mode. When I return, we’ll jump directly into Christmas! For now, I wish you the happiest Thanksgiving!
Until next time,
