We have a few more weeks of winter left, so I’ve switched up the Christmas decorations to a white and pink winter decor. This way, I can hold on to the magical winter vibes and enjoy the glow of twinkling lights into February. (Not to mention putting off boxing up all of the Christmas decorations!)

Thanksgiving debate…turkey or ham?
I have made many turkeys on Thanksgiving Day, but my fam chooses ham. This year, I will most likely order a honey baked ham for our dinner. Not only will it save me time and energy, I am positive that all leftovers (if there are any) will be eaten.
Do you serve something other than turkey on Thanksgiving?
Regardless of what is eaten on your day of thanks, be sure you set a pretty table! Here’s one of my tables decorated in happy colors for Fall.

I attended a beautiful baby shower for my son, Dylan, and his wife, Kaytlen, yesterday that was hosted by her family. 🍋

I saw all kinds of baby items that we never had when my children were born. I may have to educate myself on how to care for babies all over again! 🍼

Well, October means chocolate candy to me!🍫🍫🍫
One of my favorite childhood candy treats is Reese’s @reeses peanut butter cups.
You just can’t go wrong with the delicious combination of peanut butter and chocolate.
When my daughter was planning a Halloween party, I knew I wanted to make Muddy Buddies but decided to go all-out by throwing in everything chocolate, peanut butter and Reese’s to make an unbelievable snack treat.

I made another batch of homemade vanilla extract this weekend for Christmas gifts. This is definitely liquid gold!
I recently showed how to make the extract on the blog and calculated how much it cost to make…not to mention a blind taste test with the family to see if the homemade extract really tasted better than store bought.
The results surprised even me!
